There was one...but there's always one, huh? I really think it depends on each case...<br /><br />The people I knew who fostered regularly kept in touch with the kids after they left. <br /><br />There's often a lot of negotiating with biological parents too, so you'd need to take that into account too. It turned out that I wouldn't have enough time to see it through properly, and that was a bit disappointing.<br /><br />I don't think there's anything wrong with finding out as much as you can about it.
