ALL ENROLLED AND ACCOUNTED FOR

Tonight was enrollment night at Brownies - all 19 new girls have promised to 'do their best' and to follow the brownie law 'to be kind and helpful and do a good turn every day' in front of their family.

My guess is that they'll all have broken their first ever real promise at the grand old age of 7 1/2....

And on a sad note, my friend told me today she has breast cancer. I wish her well - first chemo tomorrow.

You need to rule your Brownies with an iron fist! Let them know that failure to comply fully with the Brownie code will result in them being isolated from the group and locked in a cupboard.

I think that's against the law, never mind the Guiding Association training!

You mean you can't lock children in cupboards anymore?

It's a damn police state...

:-( Really sorry to hear about your friend - please wish her well from me too, and I'll cross my fingers for her. Hopefully they've caught it early enough so it hasn't spread.

This, I guess, would be an ideal place to thank you for your link to my fundraising pages - that was really good of you. And whether it does any good or not, I really appreciate the gesture!

Thanks!
