new project

I have decided to learn to knit. It's been easy til now... but after the GG division carol concert I started on a bottle of rose wine.... Now knitting is HARD!!!

Oh but it is so much more fun!! Keep it up - I am sure that it will all turn out like a scarf in the end!

hello di - I won't give up yet! Took it to school as I knew I had a wait (kids at carol concert) so I'm a bit further on. Target completion for Christmas.

Knitting is loads easier than playing the trumpet - you use the same fingers, but just in a different way!!!

I guess if the final result doesn't turn out perfect, you can call it an abstract!

Will you teach the Brownies? I tried to learn from my mom for my Knitter's badge but I'm sure she ended up doing most of it!
Thanks for the visit and all the best for the holiday and new Year!
Enjoy the music!

I know how to crochet but I don't know how to knit. I'm the type of person that needs someone to sit me down and show me how to do it once or twice because I tried doing it out of one of those books that shows pictures but they use fancy knitting terms that I don't understand. ..LOL. I sucked at it.

p.s. I love the new holiday template!

MOI - I don't know if my brownies could sit still for long enough... they're pretty hyper. At the moment we're going for a short activity or craft and LOTS of running round games. It works ok!

Kyra - I had to buy a kids beginner book as I couldn't understand the grown up instructions either. The kids one has really clear photos you can just copy. It's fab.

Trav, Mrs S, Jule & AK - ha ha. It doesn't work. I dropped stitches and had to fix it and everything. I was ok til about 1/2way through the bottle when everything went belly up. It was quite funny to me then too though.
