Killing Time

I'm killing some time until I have to go to work. And today is BIG MATCH DAY in the 6 Nations Rugby tournament. SCOTLAND/WALES. I'm on Wales' side and am annoyed that I will be working during the match because a friend asked me to and I said yes before realising what time it would be at.

AND he only needed me to cover because he is GOING to the match (and supporting Scotland).

So I REALLY need Wales to win today. I'll keep all my fingers and toes crossed for them!

You definitely picked the right match to miss. Not only did Wales lose (bad enough), but the match was absolutely appalling- neither side actually deserve to be paid for what they managed served up today.

Feel lucky you were working.

I am glad I was working... I caught the last dismal 20 minutes.

To be honest, today's fare in Ireland ain't much better (so far)- though at least they've managed to score a couple of tries.

I feel like I've wasted my weekend (well a bit of it- I have managed to do some rather more important things!) watching utterly rubbish matches.

Hmm.... Off away to stay in a wigwam for a couple of days. Need a break from all this rugby.
Read some reports on yesterday today... seems it really was pretty dire. The Welsh coach is getting the blame.

Now that probably would make for an excellent post when you get back! Is it therapy?

Refuse the read the Sunday's as they're full of garbage. Much like the Saturday's actually....

Actually, I've just been to the wigwam website... looks like they're glorified (definitely more attractive) statics to me! (Heated, I mean, what's that all about?)

They're like big solid tents with beds, a desk area and heating. The toilets are a wee walk away - and they're fine. There is also a shower which costs £1 for 8 minutes...

I think it's a brilliant place and want to go back the weekend after next (remembering of course that Gelf boy works every other weekend and I work most weekends too).

It was SOOOOOOOOO relaxing. Even when I was telling Paul off for singing or annoying me in some other way I still felt relaxed!
