I like to watch the sports I enjoy most at Olympic level.
On the OTHER hand it is annoying me that I'm having to watch GMTV (dodgy breakfast tv news and gossip show) if I've been up late as BBC in the morning show the sports I've already seen.
Perhaps blaming the Olympics isn't fair. Perhaps I should pinpoint the real culprit for unwatchable telly:
Big Brother. It is terrible!!!!!!!!
Usually if I don't want to watch BBC Breakfast (good breakfast tv news show) I can always watch some old Frasier re-runs, but when Big Brother is on the channel (Channel 4) seems to show it at all hours and the channel is a no-go. The last two series's of the show have bombed though I think so hopefully they'll give up after this one.

I must need therapy, cos I'm living and breathing BB. Mind you remember I do spend a lot of time indoors....
BB here in the US is fun this season
During the week I've been getting most of my Olympic coverage on Canadian tv. I've enjoyed the commentators on CBC, and it's been interesting to get a non-USA biased perspective on the games.
Plus, CBC seems to be closer to live than I've been getting from NBC in the states.
queenie - I hope you're their only viewer... but I suspect you're not.
Bond - the people on it all seem horrible and I can't watch them for more than 5 mins before hating them... best not to watch!
Trav - Do you get canadian tv normally - as in on your telly?
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I enjoyed reading about your musical group - and your demo is beautiful, you're quite talented. Best of luck to you. My husband and I have always dreamed of visiting Scotland. If I ever sell my historical fiction novel, maybe we can afford to go!
I heart the Olympics, we've been watching it every breakfast and 8pm on holiday as we could get BBC1.
And I don't heart BB either, I gave it up in 2004 and am glad.
Guider - Yey! You're back from holiday. Nearly over now though.... boo.
Amy - sorry! Missed your comment. Thanks - I always forget that clip's there. I hate it as it was about the 400th time we did the same piece (it's quite long) and for ME this was the worst one. For the singer though it wasn't. Overall - pants.
Thanks for the yey I'm back! Not feeling so yey, I wandered round the supermarket this morning in a daze wishing everything was French.
Guider - Ah, Je comprend. I was trying to write you more in French to cheer you up but it's far too rusty. All I can come up with is "Je m'appelle TC, J'ai douze ans. Tournez a gauche."
