Boyfriends are hard work

Today he left while I was in the shower (it is now only 7.30 so I wasn't late up). He did not say goodbye.

This meant that there was no opportunity for me to say 'WAIT, my shoes are in the car'. Which they are.

Or 'WAIT, my phone is in the car'. Which it might be (can't find it).

Or EVEN to say 'What's happening later on... are you coming into town early or will you meet me at half past six?'. Because tonight I am working at half past seven. And he volunteered to come and see the show. So although he has my car and is working until 6pm I will have to wait for him. Which is fine... if I know that he'll be there on time. Which I don't.

AND he just didn't answer his phone. Which probably means he's driving.

Sometimes I think I should just live by myself. That would save stress.

You should make him buy his own car. And a hands-free headset so he can answer the phone in it. And don't give him any until he learns that a relationship is founded on good communication. Or maybe it's good sex. I forget which.

Think of me while you're having make up sex.

living alone might cause more stress when you are alone and wish you were not

I've been saying that for the last 40 years TC!

Ian - That sounds like good advice to me.

Kyra - a lovely suggestion...

Bond - you're right. I don't mean it.

Mrs S - hopefully many more years of it to come.

But did you have some other shoes? And did you find your phone?

I worry you know.

Trav - yup my phone was in the car. And I had to wear flat shoes (still lovely though).

Lack of communication is so frustrating I know!

But is he warm and snuggly in bed? Then keep him!

Bwahahahahaa! I'm thinking this way because we have nearly a foot of snow and it's only 16 degrees outside.
