I hate to admit that the only one I've read on your list is Animal Farm, but I did love it.

My 13 are up.

Sounds like you're one of those people who hates the question, "What's your favorite book?" about as much as I do.

My father had some old copies (2 books) of Diary of Samuel Pepys and I never managed to finish them either. He, however, read them every few years. Someday I may join you on your quest to finish this book too!

I loved Round Ireland With A Fridge and a Piano in the Pyrenees. Great stuff ... other than that *sounds trumpet* I never finished the Diary of Samuel Pepys either!

I'm with JohnH, I've only ever read Animal Farm. I may have to check some of the others out.

Thanks for visiting and happy T13!

Better late than never - computer wasn't cooperating yesterday. Cool list - I love to read, too. How was first day back to work?

This has nothing to do with TT, I just found your comment about Kandi's death, I am so sad for you and I appreciate so much that you told me. I know what it is, since I have a cat and that is since 1966, I had to let go 3 but they are still in my heart. Last year (not 2006) we had to put asleep our cat Max (19 yrs), I never wrote about him, I just couldn't. This year I will try.
Our holidays in Egypt were just wonderful, 2 weeks of non stop sunshine and 25° ! And now back into this funeral weather ! It had been very stormy in Britain I saw on TV and we were laying in the sun ... (I am bad !)

Cool list--and I am so with you on finding it impossible to narrow THIS particular topic down to 13. I have not read "Round Ireland With A Fridge" but the title is so intriguing I will check it out.
